I'VE HEARD IT ALL

“no one cares about my life.”

“I don’t want to OVERshare online.”

“my life isn’t aesthetic enough.”

“I just don’t have a good eye.”

…but when you start this workshop, you’ll be leaving those beliefs at the door.

  • ACTUALLY, PEOPLE DO CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE. the most active my DMs are — the highest story views I get — is *always* when the plot in my life is shifting. it’s not business, it’s personal. when I let myself be seen, other people feel seen and validated through my experiences. the less perfect, polished, and pristine they are, the more they *actually* resonate with my people.

  •  YOUR LIFE IS AESTHETIC ALREADY. â€śaesthetic” is not a singular style. it isn’t based around a product or a visual look or a colour palette or any of that shit. in this workshop I’ll explain what creates the “aesthetic” feeling that we’re craving, but first you have to let go of the idea that it’s something you can’t accomplish. your life, exactly as it is, can be captured in a way that you’re proud of. you don’t have to change anything aboutwho you are or how you live to have an “aesthetic” visual vibe.

  • CONTENT CREATION IS A SKILL.  release your preconceptions about what “creativity” means, and understand that content creation is a *skill*. you CAN learn, and practice. will it take a little longer for you to get the shot? maybe. but you want your content to look stunning on the feed, so it’s worth the time. and after this workshop, you’ll have the tools. ;)

  • YOU DON’T HAVE TO SHARE EVERYTHING. holding boundaries around what you do and don’t post is *a good thing*. this workshop isn’t about exposing every corner of your life to the internet, it’s about learning how to capture the things you *do* want to share in a way that makes you feel proud of what you’re creating, vibes with the algorithm, and serves mad value to your people.

on paper I’m an expert in online leadership and digital dynamics rooted in expression, connection, influence, and culture (but the only time you’ll find me using ~paper~ is when I’m bopping around between café, bar, or park bench, and I’m usually planning post ideas in there, anyway).

I’ve worn the expert hat in marketing, branding, public relations and strategic community building for more than 10 years — and while my acumen in each arena matters, it’s not what allows me to lead, well: it’s the fact that I’m in this work, with you.

while I share insights, analysis, theories, and methods, I’m constantly putting them into practice through my own platforms, within my own community, and in support of my own business. my secret sauce isn’t perfection, it’s action — and my gift lies in fucking around, finding out, and synthesizing everything I learn along the way.

a classic case of the neopets kid to tumblr teen to social media strategist pipeline.

bright, punchy colours can be aesthetic. dark, moody scenes can be aesthetic.  light, airy visuals can be aesthetic. when we say “aesthetic,” all we really mean is:

COHESIVE
IMMERSIVE
INTENTIONAL

and then we’ll also insert other words that are more connected to how we want to experience the world (for example “playful” or “romantic” or “beachy” or “sophisticated.”)

this workshop teaches you how to define aesthetic on your terms, and then gives you all of the tools to create content so vibe-y you’d save your *own* posts to your inspo board.

AESTHETIC IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER.
