It wasn’t until the weekend was wrapping up that we realized – between a summer of travel, our own agency relaunch, a high-capacity work-load, and just generally trying to exist and keep it together in the world we live in – that it’s been a long damn time since we finished a weekend feeling refreshed and excited for the week ahead.
So, what made this one so cup-filling?
Maybe it was the friendly faces at our favourite Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Los Feliz neighbourhood spots, the endorphin rush of trying a new workout class, the salty air on a walk down the Pacific coast, the buzz from a perfect glass of natty wine, or the comfort of two evenings spent indulging in takeout on the couch. Likely some combination of it all, coming together in the conscious choice to leave work behind a closed screen while we soaked up the very real world right in front of us.
As you scroll through the images below, we encourage you to not only absorb the details of our own weekend well-spent (and start mentally planning your next trip to LA), but to reflect on what ways you can romanticize your week ahead by simply deciding to notice.
